21 Jun Windermere Homes & Estates Celebrates Pre-Grand Opening with “Eat, Drink & Be Merry” Event
Last week, Windermere Homes & Estates (WHE) celebrated the pre grand opening of its new Palm Desert office in the El Paseo district with an “Eat, Drink and Be Merry” holiday party. More than 220 guests from throughout Coachella Valley attended the event, which featured raffle prizes, drinks and hors-d’oeuvres.
WHE’s new office space, located at 73-725 Paseo Drive, will have 12 private offices, open workspaces, a beautiful conference room and plenty of resources for agents and clients selling or buying a home in the desert communities.
Several members from the Chamber of Palm Desert assisted with the WHE office ribbon-cutting ceremony, including Chamber CEO Laurie Baldwin, Vice President Katie Stice, Linda Long, Kimberly Krause, Betty Baxter, and Tammy Martin. Jim Webb, president of the Palm Springs Regional Association of Realtors, and new Windermere franchise owner/partner Benjamin Leaskou, also attended.
WHE, co-owned by Rich Johnson and Brian Gooding, is the fourth largest residential real estate brokerage in San Diego with over 320 agents and a rolling 12-month sales volume of $1 billion, according to data from Broker Metrics. The company expanded its presence to the desert area in mid-October and has added more than 30 new real estate agents to its roster in Coachella Valley.
“The goal of hosting this event was to bring the real estate community together and celebrate our expansion into the desert,” said Gooding. “The outpouring of support demonstrates our new presence in Coachella Valley is needed and appreciated. We’re bringing the fun back to the desert, and we are here to stay!”
