Brian Gooding began his career in real estate in the 1980’s in Virginia. He worked primarily in subdivision developments and developed his skills buying and selling land for a local developer. He moved to California and became a specialist in new home sales in the Coachella Valley/Palm Springs area. Gooding later transitioned into listing and selling resale properties in high end luxury areas of the Palm Springs/Palm Desert area during the 90s. He later became Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Desert Horizons Country Club, a luxury golf community in Indian Wells, CA until 2001. In this position, Gooding developed marketing and prospecting strategies for agents and brokers. He moved to San Diego and became General Manager for Windermere Exclusive Properties, San Diego. He held that position until 2007. Gooding took an opportunity to move his family to the Caribbean in 2007 and was Director of Sales for two luxury resort communities; Christophe Harbor on the island of St. Kitts and Oil Nut Bay on the island of Virgin Gorda. During this time he was responsible for managing the sales division and selling high end properties and land to clients all over the world.
His past experience as Broker of Record for offices and his positions in sales has made him extremely skilled in contract negotiation, prospecting and relationship building. Gooding returned to San Diego and teamed up with Rich Johnson to open a new brand of brokerage.
Founded in July of 2013, Windermere Homes & Estates (WHE) has achieved exponential growth while maintaining its core values – Relationships, Community, Collaboration and Professionalism.

Having achieved this exceptional and noteworthy growth in less than two and a half years has propelled the firm to be Windermere Real Estate’s fastest growing franchise.
Gooding is married to Jenny and is the father of 3 children. He lives in Aviara, a community in South Carlsbad, CA.
Forming long term relationships
Would have loved to been at the Masters golf tournament in 1986 Jack Nicklaus won..not deep but truthful.
I want to own a successful real estate company when I grow up that is respected by all peers in the industry..where others with competing companies enjoy working with us.
“Rich and Brian are the poster children for how to do things right. They’ve embraced the Windermere culture, adopted all of our tools and technology, and built a team that understands that earning the respect of our clients and community can only be done through the highest level of professionalism.”
